Short walk to town
Short beach walk to "on the beach" restaurants for lunch: Pink Sands Blue Bar, Coral Sands Beach Bar and Sip Sip.

You can watch the sunrise on the ocean side from your bed and stroll over to the bayside in the evening for magnificent sunsets, fun to enjoy from one of numerous bars/restaurants on the bay.

Golf carts are available for rent

NOTE: Harbour Island is a little bit of paradise, and with paradise comes some trade offs. Phone service, internet service, TV service and power are not as reliable as the States. If you are coming to Harbour Island and expect everything to work all the time, maybe you should try Miami. If you want to visit one of the nicest beaches in the world on one of the friendliest islands in the Bahamas, this is the place.

The Barton House is a beachfront contemporary classic, right on the famous Pink Sands beach in the exclusive "Narrows" area of Harbour Island, just three houses down from the Pink Sands Resort. The house is steps from the water with its own beach path. Discover the hidden outlook/platform on top of a dune with a 180 degree beach view. The house sits low, tucked in just above the dunes so its completely private.

There are great panoramic views of the beach and the town on Harbourislandguide.com
